I am looking for some advice on moving more into alarm installation and monitoring.  I have performed security installs in the past and have now begun to attempt to secure more alarm contracts. I have had to obtain a systems contractor license to go along with my master license and currently have liability insurance and  am in the process of getting bids for error and omission insurance.  My questions are,
Could anyone suggest a typical monitoring contract, to be used by me with new customers? And how long do you typically contract out 1,2, years?
And how do you layout and charge for maintenance contracts?
Thanks,

I mean, you can honestly use any company. I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for, or actual hardware for the systems.

Contracts are good if you do a 5 year contract (high-end customers), and then charge them yearly.
